Shipping Information

At Refinish Distributors, we know fast, reliable shipping is essential to keeping your shop and collision jobs running smoothly. Below is everything you need to know about our shipping process, rates, and policies.


Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within same or 1 business day.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

  • Special-order items may take additional time to ship. You will know if an item is special order by a special order sticker on listing.


Shipping Methods

Currently we only offer free Ground Shipping through USPS, UPS, or Fedex. Freight shipping (TL or LTL) is also available for large quantity orders or wholesale orders but buyer will cover this cost instead of the standard free shipping we have for all retail orders.

  • Standard Ground Shipping (0-1 business day handling time)


⚠️ Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

Many automotive refinishing products—such as basecoats, hardeners, and reducers—are classified as hazardous materials and must follow special shipping regulations:

  • HAZMAT shipping may take longer due to handling and carrier restrictions.

  • Additional fees may apply.

  • Certain areas may have delivery limitations.


Shipping Areas

Currently, we ship to addresses within the United States. We will soon be shipping worldwide.


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are free for all items other than chemical liquids like (basecoats, primers, toners, clearcoats, etc) which are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight and dimensions

  • Shipping destination

  • HAZMAT classification (if applicable)

Large or recurring orders may qualify for discounted or free shipping—contact us for more details.


Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
If you have an account you can also log into your account to view the status of your shipment.


Lost or Damaged Packages

Please inspect your shipment upon delivery.
If an item is missing, damaged, or arrives incorrectly:

  • Contact us within 3 business days

  • Include your order number and photos (if applicable) We’ll make it right as quickly as possible.
